Small Rainstick

This traditionally South American instrument is recreated in mature bamboo. Small sticks are inserted into the sound chamber in a spiral. The fine beads filling the chamber fall through these sticks creating a cascade of sound like a pleasant rain shower. The outer surface of the bamboo is also decorated with carving and traditional paint designs.

This impressive instrument is hand crafted from mature bamboo. It creates a long shower of sound as the beads filling the sound chamber fall the full length of the instrument. Hand decorated with traditional carving and painting designs no 2 are the same. |

Rattan Rainstick
7cm x 7cm x 100cm
A striking Rainstick made from bamboo and finished with a cloth covered with a delicate rattan lattice. Tiny pegs are placed in a spiral along the inner length of the Rainstick. These trap the fine beads that fill the sound chamber making a cascading sound that is reminiscent of a rain shower or waterfall. Available in Red or Blue. |
